Apparently.....our right of passage to Santiago.......

Hi all!  Just a quick update before we take off on what could potentially be a 14 hour bus ride to Mendoza, Argentina...............and by now we may be looking forward to it!  For those of you who may not have heard through the grapevine, Amy and I got mugged last night in Santiago - everything is fine we are alive and well and unharmed.  Just a bit shook up is all.  We took care of cancelling any cards etc. last night and basically they got a way with a couple of hundred bucks.  No need to worry about us, just the wrong place at the wrong time. We still had a wonderful time in Santiago regardless of last nights ordeal.  We will give everyone details later and update the blog when we are settled in Mendoza.  :).

 This is my `gettin mugged`face.......................jk - trying to keep things light :)

    I am so glad to hear you both are okay. Saw it first on facebook. My internet went down and didn't get it fixed until today, go on blog and read that you were mugged - one of my nightmares is that you are mugged or hurt. My prayers are that you both will be safe and have an awesome trip. Please be careful and safe. Enjoy your awesome adventure. Love you both lots. Mom G <3
